West Charleston County's Junior Miss

Our 2011 West Charleston County's Junior Miss is Jessica Compton, from Mt. Pleasant. In our competition, her performance earned 3 separate awards, for a total of $1,400.00 in cash scholarships and, of course, the opportunity to compete at the next level of Junior Miss competition.

Jessica's achievements include: Principal's Honor Roll - 3 years • Mock Trial Most Effective Witness Award (x5) 2yrs • Girl's Cross Country 2009 State Champions • Marching Band 2007 State Champions • Mock Trial - 5th at state 2009, 2nd 2010 • All Region (1st) and County (4th) Band 2008 • Wando's "Golden Warrior" Award (x3)

East Charleston County's Junior Miss

Our 2011 East Charleston County's Junior Miss is Emily Nyers, from Mt. Pleasant. In our competition, her performance earned 3 separate awards, for a total of $1,400.00 in cash scholarships and, of course, the opportunity to compete at the next level of Junior Miss competition.

Emily's achievements include: Principal's Honor Roll • Junior Marshal • Lettered in girls' golf and Academic Quiz Bowl • Selected for SC Gov. School's summer piano program • Piano summer study scholarships from CSOL • Advanced to state level of SCMTA Piano Competition • Winner of CMTA's Louise Mathis Piano scholarship • Wando's "Golden Warrior" Award (twice) • Finalist in Engineer Girl essay contest • Furman Scholar

Our 2011 North Charleston County's Junior Miss is Calla Chuy, from Mount Pleasant. In our competition, her performance earned 2 separate awards, for a total of $1,200.00 in cash scholarships and, of course, the opportunity to compete at the next level of Junior Miss competition.
